Delegation of EUPIC in Lodz SEZ06.06.2015
On 5th june, Lodz Special Economic Zone hosted a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs taking part in the economic mission to Europe.
During the event, Lodz SEZ was visited by 57 companies from China mainly from the sector of high technologies, i.e. IT, ICT, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medicine, energu (including renewable sources of energy). The official part of the event was represented by, among others, Witold Stępień, the Marshal of Lodz Region, Tomasz Sadzynski, President of Lodz SEZ’s Board, Tomasz Grzelak, Presiedent of Hatrans Logistics, Segree Dai, President of EUPIC and Hui Zhaoxu, Vicedirector of Hi-Tech Zone in Chengdu.
The session of B2B meetings was of great interest both to Chinese and Polish companies, which had a chance to discuss their potential future cooperation.
The event was organized by EUPIC (European Union Project Innovation Center), Marshal Office of Lodz Region and Lodz Special Economic Zone.
The EU Project Innovation Centre (EUPIC) is a non-profit organization established in Chengdu (China) in 2006 under the Asia Invest II Project, a European Union initiative promoting and supporting business cooperation between the EU and Asia. EUPIC is a comprehensive platform promoting trade, investment and technical cooperation between the EU and China. In Chengdu, in EUPIC’s headquarters, Regional Office of Lodz Region and the City of Lodz in Chengdu is located. The office is a platform for exchanging information, experience, match-making for Chinese and Polish companies.
