Veolia Energia

Veolia Energy Lodz is one of the largest energy companies in Poland, whose primary activity is system heat and power cogeneration. In addition, Veolia invests in renewable energy sources, takes actions to support rational use of heat energy and sustainable development, and is also a partner in a number of initiatives for the local community in both the city and the whole region.

The heat distribution network in Lodz is the second largest heat network in the country, through which Veolia transmits heat to about 60 percent of flats in Lodz. It also supplies heat to industrial plants, public utility institutions, as well as shopping and service centres. Veolia participates in major investment projects in the city and collaborates with Lodz Special Economic Zone. It also works with the municipal authorities on the liquidation of low-emission sources.

Veolia Energy Lodz is an expert in cogeneration – a technology allowing for the most effective, simultaneous generation of heat and power. Consistent increase in “green energy” production is Veolia’s priority. The investments implemented in Veolia heat and power plants allow using not only coal but also biomass for energy production.

System heat supplied by Veolia is a cost-competitive, modern and functional product, reliable, safe, ecological, and ensuring comfort of use.
