Lodz is one of the fastest developing BPO centres in Poland and Europe. Development of this sector is enhanced by:

  • access to qualified personnel,
  • relatively low labour costs,
  • well-developed business infrastructure,
  • extensive offer of office space,
  • favourable policy of local authorities.

In Lodz and the region there are active many BPO companies. ABSL report shows that Lodz is one of 5 biggest BPO centres in the country. Currently 41 companies in BPO sector employ ca. 10 thousand staff. Employers appreciate not only low costs of activity realization but also HR potential of Lodz labour market.

More than 120 thousand people study at 28 high schools functioning in the city. A vast majority of graduates are fluent speakers of English and another foreign language. One realizes here language courses of the following languages: English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian Chinese and Arabic.

“Youth in Lodz” programme provides courses of Czech, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Dutch and Croatian. In turn, the University of Lodz organizes post-graduate studies “Organization and management of BPO shared services centre” . Companies of this sector have been present in Lodz for many years, thanks to which it is easy to find experienced personnel of every level.
