Investors implementing economic activity on the area of Lodz SEZ use state public aid in the form of exemption from corporate income tax or personal income tax. It is also possible to obtain exemption from real estate tax.
State aid is granted for:
Investors have complete freedom in selection of type of aid they want to use. Support is provided until full consumption of total amount of eligible state aid but not longer than to the end of the Zone’s operation. Level of state aid depends on the size of enterprise and is as follows*:
*For Wielkopolska and Masovia, where LSEZ also functions, the level of state aid is 25% (20% for Masovia region). For SME the state aid is increased by 20 percentage points and 10 percentage points respectively.

The Lodz SEZ is open to small and medium-sized enterprises. They represent half of all companies in the Zone. According to the fDi Magazine – Financial Times group report, the Lodz Special Economic Zone was recognized as the best zone for SME in Europe in the Global Free Zones of the Year 2014 ranking. We provide companies from this sector with:
Increased levels of public aid
Higher by 20 percentage points for small-sized enterprises and by 10 percentage points for medium-sized enterprises as compared to the public aid awarded to large enterprises
Small plots for investments
Lodz SEZ employees assist in establishing contacts with the utility companies and in drawing up applications for defining the conditions for getting connected to utility networks, e.g. the gas or electricity networks. In the Zone, the Partner Programme (MORE) has been created to provide reliable and checked partners in various industries, ranging from technical design, construction, supervision, and equipment to the recruitment of employees and other services (finance, consultancy etc.).
