Lodz Special Economic Zone among five best SEZ worldwide28.02.2014
A prestigiuos fDi Magazine – which belongs to Financial Times Group – published its – Digital Marketing Awards 2012 ranking. Lodz Special Economic Zone was evaluated as 1st in Europe and 4th worldwide! The ranking rated how particular countries, regions, cities and special economic zones use their marketing, strategies or online innovations to attract potential investors. To take part in the ranking, websites, activity in Social Media as well as innovations in e-marketing were taken into account.
In Special Economic Zones category, Lodz SEZ reached 4th place worldwide and 1st in Europe. It was exceeded only by Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (UAE), Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (South Korea), Ohio Aerospace Hub (the USA). 5th place was reached by Klaipeda Free Economic Zone from Lithuania.

What was appreciated in the Lodz SEZ’s application?
– a new look of Lodz SEZ’s website which brought 30% of more unique visits,
– an interactive map of investment sites of Lodz SEZ (http://mapa.sse.lodz.pl),
– an extra service and website of Lodz SEZ which aims at real estate trade (www.posrednictwo.sse.lodz.pl ), i.e. an offer of greenfield areas or real estate properties that are not covered with Lodz SEZ status.
– a new website of promotional campaign „Lodz – Business Zone Made to Measure” with the use of QR code (www.lodzkie-businesszone.eu)
– Social Media activity: Facebook Fan Page (with more than 2500 likes), youtube account (growth in visits by 120%), Twitter and LinkedIn profiles
– the numer of articles about Lodz Special Economic Zone (more than 1700 after three quarters of 2012 – almost 50% more than in 2011),
– advertising value equivalency reaching the level of 2,7 million PLN after three quarters of 2012 – four times as much as Lodz SEZ’s annual budget for PR, marketing and advertisements
– online newsletter which is sent to around 500 receivers,
– an innovative and unique multimedial box with a touch screen where all graphic materials are made in 3D technology. The box consists of all necessary information concerning the Zone, the region, conditions to invest, etc
