He emphasized that this is the effect of successful cooperation between Lodz SEZ’s team, local authorities and investors. The strong proof for that are numerous reinvestments in the Zone.
During the event, third year in a row, Lodz SEZ handed Grohman’s awards. Henryk Grohman, for three years now, has been the patron of Lodz SEZ’s activities. He was not only a well-known manufacturer, but also a collector of art works. The awards, designed and made by Zofia Władyka – Łuczak, are handed in two categories: Investor – Patron (for companies that invest in art and support young artists) and “Important for Lodz” (for people and institutions who and which, by their CSR activities, significantly influence the growth and image of the city).
In this year’s edition, the “Investor – Patron” award was given to Atlas for Atlas Sztuki – the leader of exhibition galleries in Poland and one of the most interesting places on the cultural map of the country. It has hosted important Polish artists as well as the representatives of world’s art.
The next award was given to Ceramika Tubądzin for creative cooperation with Academy of Fine Arts Lodz for designing ceramic tiles.
In the category “Important for Lodz”, the award went to Sławomir Fater, the director of Continuing Education Centre of New Technologies in Lodz for firm combination, creating open and friendly relations and trust between vocational education and business.
