The Executive Board of the Lodz Special Economic Zone has been operating without any changes since 2016.
Effective cooperation, efficient management and determination in action have resulted in the creation:

Marek Michalik

CEO

Initiator, history enthusiast, author, co-author of many books, social activist.
Professionally served on the boards of commercial and innovative environmental technology companies.
Member of the Polish Parliament of the first term (1991-1993).
Deputy Minister of the Environment (1998 – 2001).
Deputy Mayor of Łódź (2003-2009).
Member of the City Council of Lodz (2010-2016), where he was Chairman of the Law and Justice Councilmen’s Club
He has been recognized for his activities with numerous awards, including:
Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restitu-ta (2011),

Cross of Freedom and Solidarity (2015),
Cross of Service to Independence for meritorious service to independence (2020),
Award for Meritorious Service to Culture (2001),
Medal “For Polish Independence and Human Rights” (2001),
Medal of the Century of Regained Independence (2020),
Medal of the Commission of National Education (2021),
Title “Lodz Citizen of the Year 2018.”
Graduate of the University of Lodz.

Agnieszka Sygitowicz

Vice President of the Executive Board

An innovator, a manager, a leader. Passionate about modern technology, innovation and theater.
Expert in managing the acceleration process and building startup ecosystems.
Laureate of the TOP 15 Women in 5G ranking created by “Perspektywy”.
She gained experience working in the Department of Cohesion Fund at the Ministry of Transport, as well as managing the Department of Strategy and Development of the Radomsko City Hall.

Expert in strategic planning and also in creating a business team in a public company.
Graduated with a master’s degree in Spatial Management, Political Science and an MBA from Lazarski University.
Privately a happy wife, mother and an amateur actress. Local patriot and advocate of local community initiatives.
